I have tossed around the idea of starting a blog for quite a while. I'm a person who takes the Scripture in Luke 14:28-30 quite literally: "For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it lest, after he has laid the foundation, and is not able to finish, all who see it begin to mock him, saying, ‘This man began to build and was not able to finish?' " I believe strongly in counting up the cost of an endeavor before proceeding because I do not like starting something that I cannot maintain or finish. God really dealt with my heart concerning it, and I got the "green light" to proceed!
The inclement winter weather we have experienced here in Florida this week was a huge catalyst since I have been off work and confined to the house. So I figured this down time was the perfect time to launch a blog! It is my hope that your life will be blessed as you follow my blog. I'm not making a commitment to myself on how often I will blog. I'll trust the Holy Spirit's leading. His timing is always perfect.
